Its a problem with society that needs to be fixed at multiple levels.

Media reinforces the idea that men and women cannot be happy or "complete" without pairing up with someone. This creates unrealistic expectations such as "by the end of high school you must have had sex at least once" or that college is just one great big orgy 24/7 and getting laid is as easy as walking to the store.

It creates a narrative that you cant be happy unless your sexual needs are met and that relationships and sex are several times more important than they actually are.

You have ideas told to women that their man should not be their equal but their superior in every way and photogenic. The problem is that women are outpacing men in education and income. So women are vying for a smaller and smaller pool of men then blaming the rest of men for disappointments they experience dating the top 20 percent of men. Rather than told that these women need to be more realistic, whole cottage industries have sprung up telling these women that its right for them to not seek their equals and essentially confirming their worst biases.

Social media has distorted what people actually expect one another to look like and live like. I've seen women who look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in real life vs their Instagram and Facebook photos. Social media has made people think that life is supposed to be a highlight reel and forced women to attempt to live up to unrealistic ideas on what life is like.

People are not honest with one another. You didn't want to date him because he was short and had six chins. Just say it instead of saying "he had a bad attitude" if he had a bad attitude and was good looking then he's just rough around the edges. Men tell men who look deformed that its all about confidence and a mouth piece instead of telling them the truth: You need to get into the gym and save up your money for surgery after you've seen a counselor for your anxiety.

All of this shyt aint going away until people are ready to have frank, respectful discussions and take responsibility. Men and women. And this involves women letting men speak about their experiences of loneliness and frustration. It involves men being accountable to themselves and eachother about what they need to do to improve themselves.

A school shouldn’t be teaching/providing guidance on this subject imo. Hell, we see how fukked our education system is in just making sure every kid has mastered the basics. I agree that incels will continue to increase with time but I don’t see a solution and doubt there will be anything done. Let’s just admit (or at least I admit for myself) that i don’t care about their plight.
It’s a big embarrassing L, they have entitlement issues and need to be put in counseling. It’s something their parents need to do, not the education system.

At this point I think most people have accepted that it’s for the best to let them continue watching porn and jacking off, picking at pimples, and writing manifestos on weird Internet forums about women they don’t have the courage to talk to.

There’s bigger fish to fry and I’d rather the country invest in solutions for other things, like poverty, hunger, child abuse.

I work in powersports sales, I see it everyday, they come in and want to finance luxury items and don't know the difference between what the bank considers a necessity or a luxury purchase/toy. That's a worse problem then not knowing how to talk to the opposite sex. How come the important of credit is not taught in senior yr of HS? The example they have could be their parent who might have fukked up credit.

@Dogmatic Yes this is coming from a guy who has regularly pondered committing that. Out of obligation to my family I ultimately never would, and even if I ever did I have the understanding that if I'm unhappy or don't feel like carrying on, I'm leaving, JUST me. While life isn't fair and as a breh I may be at a particular disadvantage I understand it be like that and I either figure it out or don't. I'm a logic/objectivity/awareness guy. I don't know if you were implying in your neg that I'm advocating for anything in the my quoted post, as I'm not, but that doesn't change human nature for most people nor the fact of the matter. At this point in life I'm used to taking Ls so I know how to go back to the drawing board, to avoid additional Ls going forward, and cope with the sentiment in the moment. That's not true for everyone. Repeatedly through human history when people feel abandoned/played/dealt a bad hand a large amount become misers at best, or imposers of destruction upon others. It's not pleasant to read/acknowledge but neither is most truth

Because are economy is predicated on debt, and in the American version of capitalism there HAVE to be perpetual losers for their to be perpetual winners. If school actually educated the masses they might change society for the better and that doesn't help those in power (politically+financially) maintain their positions. I dunno. School has a huge influence on child development. How can it not. They spend more of their pivotal developmental years there from ages 5-18 than they do with their actual parents. 5 days per week, 8 hrs a day, 180 days a year.

Vs seeing parents on the weekend possibly or briefly after school or in between work. I think behavioral training can go a long way if taught consistently.

I agree. Yet schools can only build upon, 5 through 18, what's taught at home from 0-5. And if the teachings from one to the next are conflicting, you end up with what you end up with today. You used the perfect word: consistently.

When I was younger I had zero luck with women and never resented or hated them. Just thought it was one of those things and focused on sports. I think it's interesting that the natural reaction of some people when they don't get what they want is the equivalent of a child throwing a tantrum. That said; I do have some sympathy for them as a former ugly gang young breh. It can be frustrating.
