The interesting thing about this is that's pretty much the point a lot of men are at today.
Both men and women are finding themselves being more inclined to either not deal with each other at all or only extract what they specifically want from the opposite gender and nothing else.
They are both looking at what it would take to maintain a positive healthy relationship and choose not to do those things whether they realize they are consciously making that decision or not.
I think the difference is a woman who wants to extract only what they want from men is easier to get.
Women can get attention and money from men online, and sex from the men they want in real life.
A man who wants to only extract what they want from women doesn't have access to sex irl the way a woman does so his desires are met by prostitution, Onlyfans, porn, etc.
A healthy, balanced relationship is probably the better option for both men and women but as long as we continue to have these temporary fixes at the tip of our hands what's our motivation to change?
I've never had a gf. I have a decent job, my own place and my own car. I'm in shape, I know how to dress. People have told me I was smart and funny before.

Gene editing is being done to both our crops (domesticated plants) and domesticated animals and guess what? There have been negative consequences that far out way the positive.
GMO foods/crops were promised to end hunger in the 3rd world, be more resilient to droughts, need less pesticides and guess what? None of that has happened.
