Vietnamese own most of the suppliers for black hair care products. They speak Vietnamese, and the order forms are Vietnamese. It wasn’t until recent years more black owned hair care lines came up. Bronson Bros were the only black owned hair product line for years. And we know where all the weave comes from. I believe they covered this in Good Hair with Chris Rock.

There was also the Johnson Co. or something like that. I used the see the big white building back in the day in the Dallas area. But Carlos Cooks was talking about this back in the 1930's. We weren't wearing weaves like that back then. The weave thing really didn't start until the 80's.

What I wanna know is how they got a foothold in that industry way back in the 30's and 40's.
