It was obvious dude was gay when he had that video from like 10 years ago when he was sitting on his female friend's bed and singing, sounding super zesty. He was young so he wasn't overt with it then like he is now. Apparently Ghostface made him delete the video.
I dunno, I'm not part of the family, but I think what bothers Ghost is the fact that he's SUPER flamboyant with it. If he was just dressing and looking like a regular dude, it would probably be much easier to accept. But Ghost is the same one who once rapped "men marrying men, ill they go they urge". I remember an interview he had when he explained that line and he was like "how the fukk could you do that as a man?" Plus Raekwon, his closest friend in The Wu was openly "homophobic". He was on Angela Yee's show YEARS ago with Felicia Pearson AKA 'Snoop' when he was like "I can't fukking stand homos" probably not realising Snoop herself is lesbian. This was probably 20 years ago or so, if he said all that now he wouldn't even have a career and he'd be cancelled and outright blasted on every social media and news platform lol. I can't find that interview on youtube anymore which is probably a good thing for him, cos god forbid somebody drags that back up to ruin his career.
Also, not to mention the personal humiliation Ghost feels about all this. If this was the 1990s, it would be a million times harder for all involved.
At the end of the day, it's a sad one. If we're being honest with ourselves, NONE OF US would want our sons to be gay and any dude saying they wouldn't care is lying. Would I abandon my son? Probably not. As a parent, you need to be careful, because when you grow old and get sick, that same child won't have nothing to to do with you when you need them. I'm not in either party's shoes, but it's messed up if Ghost isn't in the lives of any of his kids. I thought maybe he was close with Sun God but I don't follow his personal situation like that.
