That's one of the benefits of staying in a semi rural non metropolitan type of location. Very low rent.

I pay like 400 a month. But that'll change once I move.

Owning your home & you still pay a fee


I've seen this, and with mobile homes, that's not really real estate.

yes, you own the structure, but you don't own any land, thus you're still paying rent plus a housing payment. furthermore, mobile homes are depreciating assets UNLIKE a regular home. this is why they are and always have been a TERRIBLE instrument for wealth building.

the EXACT same theory applies to a tiny house. especially if you don't own the land.
