I really changed my lifestyle these past 2 years and these prices gonna keep me living this way:
  • Rarely eat out, at most I do carry out but mainly I just cook at home.
  • No happy hours/bar hopping etc. straight to the liquor store and make my own drinks.
  • Gaming, Movies, Working out and spending time with friends and family at people's house or in a park/beach.
  • Add these gas prices on top and I'm gonna keep it local this summer while I stock up on food.

I feel ya. I'm still eating out but on the dollar menu or value menu.
Still making my own drinks at the house and have a club that I go to where entry is free
Canceled Netflix
No gym memberships - calisthenics and the track is all I do

My company does a 3% annual COL adjustment. I countered with 6% and they accepted, a little too fast. I left money on the table but I plan to look for another job within the next year anyway.
My job does a 3%. They gave us 5% about a half yr ago, thinkin they did something. Now, normal everyday items we buy are 10-15% higher, and that aint even factoring in gas, which is waaaay more than some damn 15% higher
