That’s how I feel about it too. Like, bro the only reason you lived an extraordinarily rich life is because the grandfather started a company and gave it to you but when it’s your time to do the same for your sons, you give it to some broad you fukked around with. I know the grandfather rolling over in the grave. He started the company for the family, not to go to some mistress. Even if the sons weren’t good businessmen, they could at least be on the board, have a controlling interest and just hire a MBA/CEO to run it.

I mean look at the case of Jeanne Tovrea and what happened to her...If I were the mistress I would settle with the kids. If I didn't I would be in fear that I would always have to look over my shoulder for the rest of my life.

Ms. Lucchese climbed the ranks of Scholastic over three decades, with the late Mr. Robinson at turns playing the roles of mentor, sparring partner and romantic interest, according to former employees. Mr. Robinson and Ms. Lucchese appeared to break up for good in 2019, people familiar with their relationship said.

Calling her his mistress in disingenuous. Sounds like she would've been a better person to lead the company than his family.

Granted, I wouldn't give away my family business but that was probably his thought process here.
