Craziest thing in this whole story is that this injury first happened sometime last season...meaning dude put up an mvp caliber year on a sore quad

Was shooting 55 / 45 / 95 in the playoffs on a sore quad

The terminology for Kawhi and Tony's injury is the same but the injuries themselves are not remotely close...

Kawhi's is an over use issue which means the only real treatment is to rest it...

And while I definitely want him back...this is the new nba where star players leave and get traded all the time...

Remember how we all laughed at those reports about LMA wanting out...and come to find out LMA actually did want to be traded but Pop just wouldn't do it...

I could be wrong but I feel this isn't that serious, I think the dispute is the Kawhi wants to play sooner rather than later, and the Spurs (RC Buford and Pop) don't want to risk it and keep him on ice until later in the season. I mean they are 3rd in the Western Conference without him now, IIRC.
