I used to feel like that. Now that I have an idea of what i wanna do in life, I struggle with the thought of having to do some demeaning shyt in order to attain a goal. I dont mean working a minimum wage job, but working my absolute hardest and doing the best job possible and it still not being enough because I didnt kiss a boss' ass.

See I have many interests, but I dont have one enough to pursue above the rest
So now im in college studying for something that I hope I like because i havent worked in the field.

I'm dealing with something similar now and it sucks . But there are patient men out there that are willing to work with you. especially if they understan that everybody is fukked up to one extent or the next. I think you should continue to date or put yourself out there.

I hope everything works out. It's a lot of work but I'm convinced relationships are worth it. As for me, I'm just going to chill for now. lol my most recent experience was BAAAAADDD LMAO!!

I'm a computer science major. I'v always loved the satisfying feeling of helping others that's why i got into computer repair as a side gig. Now that i know the direction I need to go in, its become easier. My advice to you: do some projects on your own that have to do with your major an make sure its something you think you'll enjoy. This year I plan on building a PC, the experience alone is very satisfying because I accomplish something and it helps me to learn at my own pace through trial and error. I would recommend interning as well but if were being a hunnid, interning is just a way for those with a step up on others to get another step up and thats another can of woms.

I don't think I will be able to get field experience until I intern since breaking into the field (even as an assistant) can be difficult. And the only reason why I settled on ths program is because I want to go to grad school for I/O psych and eventually start my own HR consulting firm. I really need someone who is working in the field to be my mentor or something
