I was just trolling but I’ll keep it going.

Immigration has been an issue for 30+ years. A wall would have paid for itself 3x already. :hubie:
Obviously not considering one already exists. :mjlol:
*I'm trolling with you*

These threads are funny to me though. People choose to support politicians because of what they say they're going to do and how that relates to their priorities.

People aren't going to jump ship because someone they support did something that makes them a hypocrite especially when it isn't relation to what they consider a priority.

Since I've been on the Coli, I've seen people try this line of attack with Trump, Hillary, Bernie, and a slew of other prominent politicians. I don't recall this ever being effective.

I support the democrat line on immigration pre-2013.

Full stop.

Bernie literally doesn't.

I don't criticize all "liberal positions"...I want positions that will actually get passed in the law. I'm tired of waiting on court decisions because far lefties hold up the process seeking utopias instead of workable, incremental, sustainable solutions.
what incremental changes are gonna prevent the planet from being destroyed in like a decade? foh no time for that, not that I agree with it for any position but climate change is just the best example of why gradualism is bullshyt

you're not going to pass laws if you keep acting like there's not a whole other party called the GOP out there.

If some of ya centrist neo-libs want people further down the progressive left line to give ya centrist dems a chance during the general election, stop trying to denigrate our candidates and smear them during the primary. Otherwise don't get mad when people wind up voting 3rd party and don't rush over to these moderate dems. Just because some centrist neo-lib claims to be progressive doesn't mean they share my views on all progressive issues. Hell I agree with libertarians on some issues but that don't make me a libertarian.

You don't want progressives to split during the general election, then stop the smear campaigning and the repression from people of our side of the spectrum. The way the super delegates screwed Bernie during the primaries was one of the biggest pieces of corruption in recent memory. Bernie's pretty much has given the Democrats legit concrete platform that have become key policy issues that centrist are now trying to campaign on and then you still have bullshyt like this to de-legitimize him and other progressives. Let all the left and center shoot the fair one during the primaries and let's see who the American people decide on.

Uncertain grounds
I personally think that the reason bernie and some other progressives havent done well or poll well in the south is because of their social policies. LGBT and abortion. Many in the south are socially conservative or moderate. Theyre not as indifferent or progressive as the north east or the west.

The economics arent the problem with them
