His black viewers nailed his ass to the wall because he wasn’t trying to speak up and potentially mess up his bag. Big mistake. He tweeted a little something, god pressed and then put out that video that looked like ISIS was behind the camera with a sword.
Not gon lie. I support this breh but that shyt had me looking at him funny. Being a top YouTuber who is a breh isn’t gonna exempt him from shyt because 12 could stop him in that Tesla and end his shyt in an instant.
Views and subscribers don’t mean shyt when alot of your audience goes thru shyt just because of the color of their skin. I will still ride for him to get bigger on his platform but you already know what you’re dealing with when it comes to him and real issues.
and I get it. But he can’t possibly think he can hide from reality with technology while the world is on fire around him.
Black people shouldn't be responsible for messes that white supremacy creates. We gotta get off that. It is NOT OUR responsibility to educate the fukking world on simple simon shyt like racism. I'm sorry I'm off that. If you not down already...I don't know what to tell you. Its one thing for someone to seek information, its another to place the weight of victimization on the victims, which is EXACTLY what people do to black athletes, content creators, actors, musicians, etc every time a big racial story happens.
My stance on this REALLY shifted two summers ago. Sure, if you WANT to make a statement about it, go ahead. But no black person, under any circumstances, should be COMPELLED to comment on racial trauma/violence/indignity. I'm through shouting into a vacuum.
Some people, like this brother, are examples by the sheer fact that they exist in a space or the content they create. I could care less who the nikka smashes, I want to see black people WIN...everywhere. In every field.
