The average FB user doesn't know you can make money advertising on Facebook. They have no idea why they see certain ads pop up on their computer. They probably think it's just random ads being placed.

not for local business. facebook is way more targeted and off your business page. google ppc goes to your site which drives traffic there but waaay less locally targeted. if you were selling a product or service that wasnt local then yes google ppc is better.
