Blocking likes, and now comment totals. If you got no business on instagram, you won't mind. If it is a platform where you do business, this is catastrophic.

First, if the algorithm takes LIKES into account for boosting a post, and they stop incentive's customers from hitting like, then overall engagement WILL fall because they don't see their personal impact of their actions.

This is a horrible game they are playing.

from a business standpoint it's not bad. your metrics are still there. Plus conversions really matter not likes.
