Bro, I'm not lambasting anyone. They've taken offense for no reason. All I've done in this thread is asked for recommendations. Me not liking your recommendations does not mean I don't like you.

I DO like Jay-Z, Nas, Wu Tang. fukk. It's just not what I was looking for in recommendations. Y'all are so fukking touchy.

I don't give a fukk about swag, what clothes the rapper wears, what is flow is, how cool he is, how many bytches he gets, or how good he thinks he is. Can you imagine a poet making these claims? Would you want to read his poetry? .

1) flow cannot be categorized with luxury items and the fact you lump "flow" with "gettin bytches" is assanine

2) the best poets know how to brag.

Actually, liking one artist over another IS opinion. No, art is not fact.

I never mentioned hip hop. I said rap, which has a more ambiguous meaning. It could go back hundreds of years, if the roots of rap count as rap. If your technical definition says that roots of rap are not rap, then well, I agree to disagree. I fail to see how that is an insult to rap as a whole.Furthermore, all of my choices are recent rappers, and they have all of the required elements of hip hop, even if you think they aren't as good, so you really don't have a point at all here.


I did say "forget about rhythm, cadence, etc" not because my choices had NONE ZERO WHATSOEVER but because it was a distraction to the single variable I was looking for, LYRICS.

None of this is getting my jimmies rustled. Other people thinking I offended them and calling for a ban are who have "gotten their jimmies rustled".

Dude, Jay-Z and Nas were just compared in a major thread on here, and they have always been compared. I was just naming popular rap artists.
