I can understand a person being smart in a field or a skill they know and they have a well understanding of it, but when they question your intelligence in your field/position and u need to do this or that and they have no idea about it then
I can't stand a chick who just because she listen to a lauryn hill , mos def, jill scott, eryka badu and these other neo-soul artist and they kick some kind of knowledge and she works say as a teacher, that she has become some well rounded highly intelligent person who is smarter than a dude who listen to non neo-soul artist and doesn't do wine tastings or who drink starbucks coffee..

Back to the topic, i like Intelligent girls but i dont measure intelligence with degrees. There's alotta dumb broads with degrees, which is simply a piece of paper which proves you can memorize and repeat the information given to you. I measure it by their ability to handle novel situations and your breadth of knowledge outside of the things which directly affect you.
