Drop more info please ignore the random yo

-Prince says when he met scarface he was signed to Lil Troy who he knew from the streets. He remembers lil Troy as "a valet worker that used to park my cars" lol.

-He makes it clear he's a business man first. When he talks about missing out on the Vanilla Ice deal, he says "I"m not an artist, producer, or composer. I'm an entrepreneur and businessman. My 'masterpiece' is my bank roll. He calls boxing his first love."

-Geto Boys never got along.

-We missed out on a Roy Jones Vs. Mike Tyson fight. Prince was managing Roy at the time and got him and Mike to agree to a fight for 25 million each. The investor was only willing to bay 17. Mike agreed but Roy held out. He took the Antonio Tarver fight instead and got knocked the fukk out. The Tyson fight was done after that. J says it was the only deal he lost that kept him up all night.

-He went to Vegas with intentions of signing on to Mike Tyson's management team. Sat down with Mike, discussed what he brought to the table. They shook hands and Mike agreed to work with him. The next day his number was changed and he never went back to that gym. Wasn't a total waste though. That was the same day he met Mayweather who approached J originally to talk about music. He later went on to manage Floyd.

-A few DJs and program directors in Houston caught the beats for not playing rapalot songs during their early days. J says "Radio is not as pretty as it sounds. Radio stations are a playing field where gangstas play and they do a lot of things you aren't aware of so don't feel sorry for them."

-He talks about the issues with Lil Wayne. Indirectly alludes to Wayne taking Jas' girl. Says he stayed out of Jas and Wayne's business until Wayne dropped the line "You need a king fukk a Prince." J says he took issue with Wayne disrespecting his family name. Eventually it got resolved. I think Wayne apologized or something.

-He wanted to sign Pac but Suge beat him to it.

-He never let his kids listen to rap music growing up.

-Wayne's manager Cortez was trying to cut him out of the Drake deal. He set up a meeting with Cortez, Baby, Slim, Jas Prince, and G Robeson. Cortez basically got put on blast. G Robeson spoke to Prince and asked "what do we have to do to make this right?" They drew up a contract and that was that.

-Mayweather Sr. was gonna beat his ass once during a meeting. Prince told him " I can see you're upset, but I can't take no punches" Floyd Jr. understood what J was REALLY saying and got between the two. Floyd and his dad were about to go at it then, and J just decided to leave before a tragedy happened.

Sounds like I’ll be getting this book. I don’t think he has any need to exaggerate or tell lies from everything I’ve heard about him over the years.

Highly doubt anything is exaggerated. If anything, a lot is toned down. He tries to discuss every situation tactfully without being overly disrespectful to the people involved. A lot of things are left to innuendo where you're just supposed to put 2 and 2 together. His story about approaching Mayweather at his gym after Mayweather cut him out of his management deal is a lot more sanitized in the book than the version Bob Arum told on ESPN for example.

Any mentions of his relationships with Big Mike and Tela?

Nah don't think so. Mike got a casual mention just as far as being on the label. Didn't see a Tela reference. He mentions Tony Draper and Suave House though but only to say he inspired them and was happy for their success.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
-Puff and Jimmy Henchmen went to Houston to request Prince mediate a truce between them and Suge. Prince had a few questions first about 2pac's NY shooting and when they weren't giving him straight answers, he decided to decline the sit down.

-When he went to visit Larry Hoover in prison they put a security badge on him which was actually a recording device. He claims their rights were violated. Goes on to talk about their relationship and the unfair/unlawful things they've done to Larry while he's been locked up.

-Supreme and Chris Gotti had to fly to Houston to clear up some business disagreement over the producer 7 Aurelius(sp)' work that he did with Murder Inc. Supreme supposedly told Chris jokingly on the way to Prince's Ranch/Compound "I can't believe we're coming out here. This is going to be our last ride." They ended up working out a deal and this was the start of Murder Inc/Rapalot/Death Row relationship.

-J says he believes the feds came after him, Irv, and Suge due to their plans to start a Recording Industry Union/distribution company.

-J doesn't seem to really like Suge. Says he agreed to partner with him and Irv because it made business since and he "does business with a lot of people he doesn't like."

-Says he was always suspicious about Suge going back to their relationship with Harry O. Harry had called them both from jail once and Suge was discussing things that "you dont' want law enforcement to know about." J says he stayed quiet the entire phone call. They had another call where J (knowing he was being recorded) made it plain he wanted nothing to do with any business dealings with them.

-His sister got cut in half by a train when he was a kid.

-Prince had to send a few "courtesy calls" and VISITS after Dr. Dre/Interscope didn't follow through on clearing a track Dre produced for Scarface. Jimmy Iovene eventually intervened after rapalot affiliates went to interscope offices unnanounced and and gave Rapalot the track for free.

-He was homophobic until a gay high school teacher taught him how to type.

-Baby has paid a couple million in "good faith payments" on the debt that he owes. The case is currently being litigated in court for the rest.

-He warned Puffy and Biggie about being in LA. Biggie got killed shortly afterwards.

-He called Master P after the issue with him and Pimp C. Told P that Pimp was with him now and reqeusted he fall back in order to keep their relationship from becoming hostile. Says P agreed and Pimp also agreed not to speak on P anymore.

Overall good read. He goes into a lot of detail about the feds case against him and harassment he faced. Other stories about the music industry and general life observations and lessons.
Keep dropping it man.

Ignore the internet dwellers, who never been in a fist fight.... who will try and explain why a nikka who got all this respect, secretly ain’t tougher than them
