He thinks that the stars aligned specifically to give Kobe the worst conditions possible. Give him a bunch of talent up front so he can't go off on his own as much with scoring, then wait until his prime and take his talent away so he has to guard 5 guys by himself on defense and be too worn out to do shyt on offense, then load him up with talent again so he's again hampered with having to pass the ball, then age catches up with him after only 18 seasons. It's not. Kobe is better than Jordan. Playing with Shaq was detrimental to Kobe. Sure he got 3 rings, but the narrative was well, he got Shaq. anybody can do that with Shaq. Ray Allen is really better than Kobe. Vince Carter is better than Kobe. T-Mac is better than Kobe (and at a point he was). Iverson is better than Kobe. Michael Redd is better than Kobe. Philadelphia 76ers during their Finals run were a defensive minded team... McKie, Snow, Lynch, Jones were all good defenders with Mutombo/Ratliff/Hill behind them clearing boards and blocking shots at a good rate. Of course Shaq tore through that but they did a good job on opposing wings that year.

Implying Kobe gets them 4 wins on that team is ridiculous, never heard that before. Not even sure they get more than one, they were a great defensive team with one great volume scorer carrying a huge load. They got away with it against the east (only 16 of their 56 wins came against western opponents; .571 win percentage vs west and .740 win percentage against east), but they still don't stand a chance against AI/Shaq along with the better scoring role players that LA had. Kobe did thrive off of Shaq's Impact down low, you stans act like Kobe with that 76ers team would've done better with no other highly impactful offensive player and ignore what Shaq did for those Laker teams
