SMH IF U REALLY THINK THAT JORDAN DURING THE SECOND THREEPEAT WAS ANYWHERE CLOSE TO INDIVIDUALLY AS GOOD AS PRIME KOBE...THERES A CASE FOR 91-93 JORDAN, BUT NOT 96-98 JORDAN...NOT EVEN CLOSE.

:mjlol: @ the bolded.

Again, against his contemporaries, Jordan scored more points, grabbed more rebounds, got more assists, more blocks and more steals, turned it over less and scored more efficiently at any point in his career compared to Kobe.

Next you're going to blame fg% on Jordan's competition....so tell me why players like Wade and LeBron can hit the 50% mark while having a high scoring average...but Kobe can't?? They played against the same defenders...I'll wait....

Gary Payton
NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton. AKA the Glove.

Payton was the NBA Defensive Player of the year in 1995-1996, which is the same year that Seattle lost to Jordan led Chicago in the NBA Finals.

Couldn't stop Jordan though. Hopefully one day Gary Payton will be considered as good as Tayshaun Prince.

You over the age of 35? Because that's the only way you can say you saw Jordan play in his prime and not be like 6 or 7 years old.

No you are retarded. Seriously retarded. The current players in the league are not as good as the players that Jordan played against. And to show how retarded you are; you are literally saying that Tayshaun Prince is a better defensive player than Dennis Rodman. Dennis Fukking Rodman. nikka do you know what the fukk you writing about? Dennis Rodman is in the Hall of Fame you retard; due to just his rebounding and defense. That mofo used to guard Jordan back in the day; and he couldn't stop him.

YOU CAN NOT BE THIS fukkING STUPID!!!!! NO fukkING WAY!!!!!!!!

ONLY A RETARD CALLS THIS SIDEKICK NUMBERS. U GOT SOMETHIN U WANNA TELL US?
Only a retard would make up an argument to refute it with some stats from 2001

:camby:

I simply said he was a sidekick breh just get over it. He didn't put up "sidekick numbers" when it came to scoring so he's definitely the GOAT sidekick by those standards

Did I see Tayshaun Prince>GP defensively? :skip:

And yes while GP did not consistently guard Jordan in games 1-3, George Karl had been worried about a leg injury Payton had over the course of that week/10 days. When they were down in the series 0-3 he switched Payton over to Jordan and Seattle won 2 straight (before losing in G6).

Jordan games 1-3: 31 PPG, 46% FG, 2.3 TOPG

Jordan games 4-6: 23.6 PPG, 36.7% FG%, 3.6 TOPG

Also, for when my facts and statistics are inevitably going to be bullshyt, here's Payton on that series (notice how he says he GUARDS JORDAN after Game 3):

SO U PRETTY MUCH PROVED MY POINT....WHEN SEATTLE PUT A GOOD DEFENDER ON JORDAN (FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS FINALS EXISTANCE), JORDAN PLAYED TERRIBLY AND THE SONICS WENT 2/3.....THANK U.
