@ the bolded.Again, against his contemporaries, Jordan scored more points, grabbed more rebounds, got more assists, more blocks and more steals, turned it over less and scored more efficiently at any point in his career compared to Kobe.
Next you're going to blame fg% on Jordan's competition....so tell me why players like Wade and LeBron can hit the 50% mark while having a high scoring average...but Kobe can't?? They played against the same defenders...I'll wait....

Payton was the NBA Defensive Player of the year in 1995-1996, which is the same year that Seattle lost to Jordan led Chicago in the NBA Finals.
Couldn't stop Jordan though. Hopefully one day Gary Payton will be considered as good as Tayshaun Prince.
