Huh, she's living it to the fullest. She's not trying to make money breh:gucci:

Y’all so fooled. This girl entire plan is to make money from Adsense on YouTube by building up an imagine living a certain lifestyle.

Whole time she’s going to use the money to finance the real lifestyle she wants while continue to fool a preach something she isn’t practicing.

I’m pretty sure the CPM for education on YouTube is crazy. Y’all probably don’t even know what I’m talking about.

nah.... she's supposed to work hard for things...

even stay at home wives and mothers have their work cut out for them...

life being "easy" is a modern concept that hasnt been too beneficial if you look at the data

Thats not my philosophy.

I don’t see myself in competition with women so I don’t care if they work hard or not.

My mind doesn’t even have thoughts about stuff like that.

Being a mother is work but it doesn’t have to be hard if I can help it.

But that’s me.

1. "competition" has nothing to do with women having to work hard.

2. women not feeling like they have to "work hard" has led to a major degradation in their happiness in modern society

3. I expect everyone (male or female) to "work hard" if they want to maximize their potential... unless they are some genius savant that excels effortlessly at all aspects of human life.

Examples:
working hard on your diet and fitness...
working hard on developing patience and understanding...
working hard to better understand yourself...
working hard to better your family/community...
etc. etc.

women have more freedom and "easier" lives in respect to marriage/household duties...

but happiness rates are lower than before
alchoholism, suicide, and depression are higher than before.

Thanks. I took a look at the abstract, introduction and conclusion, and I don't think it shows women are unhappy because life is "easier".

I think it says pretty much the contrary. Their introduction in the global workforce in industrialized countries led to more pressure to succeed professionally as well as socially. But it also created insecurity when it comes to success in the rat race, accentuated by comparizons with men.

The authors also repeat that measures of happiness over long periods of time cannot be taken at face value and that not only it's hard to measure well-being period, women might also feel more comfortable admitting their true level of happiness, or require even more things to be happy since more opportunities are available. Despite that, suicide rates for women had been trending down at the time of the paper.

I don't know much period, and sorry to argue for the sake of arguing. I was just interested by what you said about an easy life not being beneficial, because this is something I myself ponder about.

My point was them being more unhappy DESPITE life being easier
My wording sucked....

the issue isnt difficulty per se....
its that the amount of effort necessary to create a state of living that works isnt seen as normal
....so shortcuts are taken

She basically saying how she's sick and tired of all the hustler-go getter-be a boss-LLC talk and is content on being regular and simply just being alive. Some might call this laziness and having no drive which I get but at the same time she's making some valid points. With social media in play is all the hustler boss talk getting tiresome and obnoxious?:jbhmm:

Materialism has ran its course. We peaked on flashy capitalism and clout chasing. Gen Z gonna change this whole society, inside out. The IG clout shyt, may not be there 10 years form now.

Im not disagreeing with you.

You’re probably right.

Just not anything I’m concerned with.

I was raised in the South in the 80s and 90s so I have a lot of chivalry built in.

I’m too old to change now and don’t really feel the need to.

well the women raised in your time and environment are probably not the same women who are having the bulk of the issues in modern times....

I'm in LA

Shes a woman.

It’s supposed to.

That's not how the game works. You gotta be good at something for something to be easy. For some people it's a hustle.

Some broads are really good at doing their own makeup and taking pictures. It's not just some haphazard shyt, MF's just handing out money. Even if they are having someone else put makeup on them, there's the time aspect. You gotta put time into your efforts, whatever your doing. If you want to master something then you actually have to sacrifice. She specifically said she doesn't want to sacrifice anything for something.

She's lazy, not a minimalist by any means.

She has some issues which she mentions in the video, which is fine and you can see how and why she is the way she is. She's just lazy and everything she explained about what she wants and what she's doing is just a long winded description of laziness. Not craftiness, not minimalist, no life hacks. Just sheer laziness. There's nothing wrong or bad about it, just call it what it is.

What she says makes a lot of sense, but black people are unwilling or too afraid to have that conversation with themselves, because it will require an acknowledgment of unalterable truths about our place in this world.

We live in a society in which black people occupy the bottom rung of every meaningful metric that gauges quality of life.

Education. Employment. Housing. Health. All manner of measuring wealth sees us fall short.

To grow up in a world where almost everyone who looks like you is treated like they’re lower than dogs is to grow up with a warped sense of your value.

Blame it on racism and systemic discrimination. Being able to identify the culprit is meaningless. The damage is so deep seated, so baked in, that multiple generations from our own - millions and millions of black boys and girls decades over - will be born into a world just as contemptuous of their being.

And, to grow up seeing everyone but you given a chance to breathe, people who live a life free from the suffocating hold of white supremacy, has to leave mental and emotional scars.

To compensate for those wounds, a lot of black people have convinced themselves that they can escape blackness by obtaining material goods that will mark them as distinct from the rest.

But, she’s decided to break free from that trap, accepting the hand she was dealt. If there’s a just god, he must have a cruel sense of humor, because he has consigned black people to a rotten existence. And, maybe she feels that the only way to escape that hell on earth is to stop competing with white people.

Stop trying to live within the social and economic parameters they have set for happiness.
