I wont hate on what anyone else does.
You guys are all grown men and women, what you do to your bodies is your call.

But if you are trying to get into peak shape (more muscle, less fat), this is a terrible idea.
You need to eat more (clean) and most importantly you need to workout more.

You see those guys eating 4k calories a day but have no noticible fat on their faces or their bellies?
These guys aren't doing Keto
These guys aren't doing IF
These guys are eating 5-7 times a day
But they are also working out heavily, doing cardio, moving big weight.

Also, no one is mentioning that eating less while working out = more soreness/longer recovery time.

I promise any of you, if you doubled your lifting and cardio for 3 weeks and ate whenever you wanted to (clean), you will get better results than you ever got doing IF.
Bigger muscles, more definition, more energy, less soreness.


But at the end of the day, do as you will, you are all adults.
I just want to make sure no one gets the wrong impression that this is actually good for your body.

Intermittent fasting is better than Keto.
It's just too hard it's been your eating fats all the time.
Plus eating all that fat and cholesterol can be good for you over a long period of time.

So you’re making this thread based off your feelings?

You really should be doing Keto AND IF.

When I’m on it I do both. IF with a eating window of 12 PM to 8 PM. Low carb diet. Really cut out potatoes, noodles, bread. Instead of having a starch we just have double veggies. No processed food and a lot of cooking

Exactly, even keto is a joke. You can eat whatever the hell you want it’s all about moderation and counting calories

:wow: So I did a cycle of intermittent fasting and keto, and I lost like 20 lbs in a month. I was getting ready for a school reunion. I kept doing keto for a few months after, and I was the lightest I've been in years. Blood pressure and blood glucose levels were spectacular. Problem was, for me, it's unsustainable :mjcry:. I love carbs and sweets, and I'm at the point in my life where that shyt is miserable. I'll stick with the intermittent fasting, but the keto shyt is hard for me to sustain. I'll pair the fasting w lower carb intake and being more active in the gym.
