Playing soccer gave me the opportunity to talk to black people from around the globe and it opened my eyes to the importance of the black family and identity.

It's embarrassing honestly. Because the desperate, thirsty, energy generated in the Black/White, Black/Non Black Latino, Black/Asian dating dynamic comes from our end more than their end. We make it seem like we want them, more than they want us. And that gives them leverage.

I agree. People keep acting like Black Nerdism is still rare. Black Nerds have been pushed to the forefront in pop culture, music, etc.

Especially in the post-Home video game Era, most of our generation grew up being groomed into at least Semi-Black Nerdism. The popularity of Anime in this country in the early-00's also contributed to the growth of Black Nerdism.

In 2016, there's more than enough Black-Nerd culture for me. Perhaps a lil too much Black Nerd culture. Some of it is too cheesy for me.

It breaks my heart when black boys and girls I work with think their hair is ugly because it isn't straight like their classmates. Or they think black hair and black eyes aren't beautiful.
