Didn’t go there. Took a gig elsewhere in the Midwest fam
I interviewed with them for a software engineer position. Things went well until my last interviewer. One of those too smart for his own good, probably with that blacks are mentally inferior bug in his head. His conduct wasn't hostile but I think he ruined his own impression of me. Suffice to say I didn't get the job. I'm still bitter about it.

Actually executives normally get in thru word of mouth, good ole boy network, or executive headhunters. They don't have to jump thru add many hoops and they get paid at the top of the food chain.

I don’t know if they are one of the best places to work or not but i knew right when i walked through the door it wasn’t a place i wanted to be. People seemed miserable, boring, and tired. That is the gist of what I felt during the process. I connected with a few people as well who “worked” in the org i was interviewing for and they said it’s strictly a 2-3 year gig to build up your resume and go elsewhere. Lastly i wasn’t fond of the lack of diversity. It’s diverse for everyone but African Americans’..

What happened? How many interviews did you have?Good luck breh. Flew up there for an interview last summer for a Brand Specialist position. Stupid competitive.

See that a lot. Its part of the racism and double standard and bias that exists in job seeking and job placement process. Same thing with prior work experience. They make exceptions to your degree and job background. That is why blacks have to be more open about community building.
Consulting companies dont want liberal arts. They recruit from science programs from HBCU and PWI

How was the banking interview process? Would you have to relocate?
Did they fly you in? How many interviews before they did bring you in? How was the interview? What types of people did you meet with?
How do you get out of that? Those racist and/or over zealous types.

It's just the world we live in
. All you can do it focus on you and not let the bullshyt get to you. The last thing you want to do is walk around mad all the damn time like most of the dudes in TLR, talmbout "cac this" and "cac that". Recognize your situation and make it work for you.
