I HATED that shyt in school. It was the girls that were more annoying about it than the guys. More than once I had somebody sitting next to me going on some shyt like "It's rude not to have a conversation with somebody trying to talk to you" and shyt.

What they'll describe as some distressing situation at work is really just one or two people saying "hello" or trying to spark a conversation and they have abysmal social skills so they embarrass themselves which makes the other party call them "weird" because that's exactly what they are.

This topic is made just about every month and nothing will be done about it. Then with a straight face, these same people will wonder why they're going nowhere in life.

It's funny b/c when I look back on a lot of situations in my life I didn't realize I was an introvert until a couple yrs ago.

Crazy.

I had to put up with my mom calling me anti-social and shyt and my thing is I'm just at peace with myself and doing my own thing. A lot of introverts are not very socialable to begin with. I'm not into forced interactions with people. If I like you, I LIKE YOU. If I don't, I DON'T. I just don't connect with a lot of people like that.

Basically, I've seen it plenty of times to understand it. You meet up with kats like this and they are obviously socially limited. I'm not the type to judge but I'd recommend switching it up once in a while, do something that makes you uncomfortable...best that happens is you like it, worse that happens is you just don't do it again.

It sucks because a lot of these people become the shoulda coulda woulda crew, miss out on life cause they simply didn't wanna budge. Life to vast for that brehs...experiment once in a while. Specifically when it comes to the workplace, as long as you ain't fukking nobody there honestly isn't much that can go wrong with discussing stuff from time to time. A lil convo don't hurt nobody

Some of y'all are savage.I'm definitely an introvert and being shy, I really didn't talk to a lot of people. I don't care to talk much and this thread actually makes me feel good to not have to talk all the time I used to feel insecure not talking. It depends though because if I'm with the gang then I'm actin a foo. I keep my social and work life separate, being a nice person I might crack some jokes so people can leave me alone.


I think 'Grown' men tend to be introvert over everything else. All that silly chatty patty come from nikkas who ain't grow up or just fake.

Insecurities are projected on you because most people just don’t know how to be alone with their own thoughts..
I’m only social when I need to be and around the people I care about the most..
I truly don’t give a shyt about general population..
Only time I care or have feelings is for older people(specifically older black men and women) and children..
