Where did the whole introvert and extrovert thing come from? Is it even scientifically proven? The more I think of it, that Myers briggs personality shyt seems to be false or completely inaccurate.

I’ve never heard anyone identify themself as extrovert it’s always people calling themselves introverted that describe extroverts as some Neanderthal
Truth is most normal functioning people are both introverted and extroverted depending on the crowd, theirs moods and the setting

Honestly I dont think people are extroverted or introverted. Think those are the wrong words to you to describe how people are. As you said, people basically are who they are based off of their environment/nuture and how they are already/nature.

These articles are really just a symptom of their (our) introversion. We want people to understand us so we write articles (instead of talk to people) to try to explain why we sometimes appear to be socially awkward and so that people don’t think we’re antisocial. It actually makes sense... articles aren’t socializing, they’re a way to say what’s on our minds WITHOUT socializing.
I love to entertain at home or go out with large groups of friends, but I feel mad uncomfortable around people that I don’t know or have no valuable reason to be around. But, if I run into someone and have something interesting to talk about, I could yap on for hours.
A lot of times, its the risk of being seen as a "socially awkward wierdo" that causes the social awkwardness. For me, responding correctly in conversations so that folks will want to associate with me on a regular basis heightens my anxiety, and causes me to not speak as well as I can. A self perpetuating process..Why don’t they just admit to being socially awkward weirdos?

Many extroverts are entitled and ego driven. They need energy, approval, validation and acknowledgement/attention from others. When they dont get that, it hurts em.I agree but I actually hate most people so...
Yes they act like straight babies when you tell them I NEED YOU TO BE QUIET AND RELAX OVER THERE. They honestly think you're telling them to fukk off when you simply need to recharge. I had to put someone out of my house because he thought I was joking and kept hugging up on me. Eventually I got tired of trying to explain it to him and told him to leave.
