Co-worker tryna teach me about investing in stocks. After reading books and online shyt, I STILL don't understand anybody got any pointers or suggestions?

Read slowly.

It's not hard to buy stock. I bought shares of Coca-Cola, Exxon Mobil and Lockheed Martin back in 2012 but sold em after, like, 6-8 months if I recall correctly.

Lockheed shares were the only ones that paid good dividends. Made a profit between $300 and $400, but I bought about $3,000 worth.

I don't know a lot about the stock market, but I know that trading stock is more profitable (and far more risky obviously) than simply investing.

I suggest you get real and put your money into something that you're already skilled in. Pretty sure the only people banking off day trading are the brokers and people selling get rich quick scams.
