I think the bigger growth comes in from once they actually get their product in stores. Seeing influencers make them youtube videos like "My First VEGAN Whopper" will be very good.
I'm invested in it because it tastes the best, there might be a lil dip when Impossible IPO drops, but I'll prob purchase (both) then too.

I'm new to the game tho. I am glad to have seen this rise so much, should've purchased more shares
Is Impossible a competitor?

Bought 5 shares of Beyond Meat yesterday. :lupe:

What more growth can we expect from Beyond Meat? Is this a no-brainer stock to invest in? I'd only assume more and more food chains will start to incorporate the food into their menus, etc?

making deals with fast food chains like they did with tim horton's and expanding operations overseas. they rely on pea protein and only have one manufacturer for it right now. if they can get a few more down the road then they'll be golden. they run into supply shortages sometimes because of this. i'm kicking myself for not investing in this. i ended up buying yeti (which i like) and more wells fargo when it dipped to like 46 i think.

Yeah impossible is different, and there will be more. Tyson provided BYND with a lot of initial funding but backed out before the IPO. This could mean that they got their money's worth out of the r&d and are going to make their own thing that's going to be worth it more to them than licensing BYND.

McDonald's will have their own meat substitute. Chik-Fil-a will have their own. But BYND has been first. You already should have made some money depending on what time of the day you purchased.

What’s y’all thoughts on Uber?

Them not being able to turn a profit scares me a bit.
I bought into Uber again at $38 a share. I plan to gradually grow my position over the months and years. Uber and Facebook will probably be my only 2 non-dividend paying positions for the foreseeable future. I don't really plan to raise my average cost much so I'll buy in at $38 or lower.

Eventually I'm guessing Uber and Lyft will merge. Kinda like Sirius and XM did.

They sell about 20 products but their quality is really good, it’s a lot of outdoors essential stuff for now but once they increase their market and expand overseas then they’ll make actual camping equipment, apparel, workout gear and maybe extreme sports stuff like rock climbing or kayaking and whatever else outdoor stuff ppl use.

Most importantly sales has grown year over year and is projected to continue to grow, their HQ is in Texas and the lease for the warehouse is super cheap and they’ve been growing operations and spending money on marketing. I think it’s a good company with good leadership and vision.

Fivver ipo today at $18- $20 a share. I use their website and it is truly amazing. You can have creatives help you with projects for a low price and very fast. Just as a customer I can see the potential in this. I think we see Jumia like moves where it will reach $40- $50 before coming back down.

Slack ipo on June 20th been waiting on this since last year waiting to see what the price is to see what kind of position I'll take

Fiverr hit the market at $26.15 it's close to $30 now. It only has a 5 million share float so it can skyrocket on good news. Looking to buy closer to $25
