Just started watching. I didn’t know anything about the show going into it.

You got the star of the show carrying herself like a nygga. You got a nygga dressed like a bytch. You got some butch white bytches beating nyggas up. You got every weirdo you can think of in that crew. You can’t make this shyt up.
Eric fukkin Andre is the MOST normal person so far

i'll continue giving it a chance though on strength

You know it's bad when white reviewers are saying why does riri have to be poor and do crime. At the end of the day we just want a GOOD STORY. i feel sorry for the actress who has to work with this.

As long as people are going to watch it's going to continue happening. And before people come for me for the oh she's black blabla fukk off.

It's like marvel forgot how to do character development and expects most of its viewers to accept it. Same shyt happened in BP2, shuri just became BP2 and was immediately OP it made no sense to me.

DC have been waiting for this for years but seems like the will have their moment to shine.

Them white boys just want something to gripe about. They ain't have nothing to say when Reed Richards and the Fantastic 4 broke asses had to do crime by breaking into a space station to test Reeds rocket ship. They ain't have anything to say about Doc Brown dealing and stealing with Libyan terrorists. They don't have anything to say about Dr. Frankenstein committing crime for his experiments. The "anything for science" and the "Genius without funding" tropes are common in science fiction/fantasy genres. White boys and white adjacent folk are upset because a black woman is at the center of this story. They so use to white washing everything they have lost their sense of reality

Creola Katherine Johnson (née Coleman; August 26, 1918 – February 24, 2020) was an American mathematician whose calculations of orbital mechanics as a NASA employee were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. crewed spaceflights.[1][2] During her 33-year career at NASA and its predecessor, she earned a reputation for mastering complex manual calculations and helped pioneer the use of computers to perform the tasks. The space agency noted her "historical role as one of the first African-American women to work as a NASA scientist".[3]

She's willing to do whatever to complete what she probably sees as her life's work. Obtaining money was even part of the first scene. She made "a deal with the devil" so to speak, the consequences of which we have yet to see. I keep hearing the next 3 episodes are better so we'll see. Character development and the actual strength of the character in a film/show are two different things. Steve Rogers became "immediately OP" as well after the serum injection.

It's the script not the acting IMO. They used at least one of the writers from She-Hulk :francis: with that said show is "okay" so far; not bad. It couldn't keep my attention, but I recognize it wasn't made for me.

I hear that but I was also cautious coming into this because I really didn’t like the character in Wakanda Forever - say what you will about that movie but Angela, Danai, Letetia, etc. were acting their asses off and the Ri-ri Williams character sticks out like a sore thumb - it’s like she’s in a different movie to everyone else.

Thought I’d give her grace and see if the character was a better fit in her own TV show but I just don’t like how the character is being depicted - I’m not familar with the source material though so it might be just me but I’m finding the character too jarring

still wild that they did that Werewolf By Night hour special and it might be the best, if not a top 3 Disney+ MCU thing and then basically just said... that's it, we're done. they are doing Punisher that way i guess? but that dude is popping up in other shyt, and we know his life story already. just drop more random 1 hour character things like WBN

Just watched a review from someone who saw the 6 episodes. And it seems the last one saves it. But huge wasted potential.

Don't worry not going to spoil anything but we gave up war machine for this mess :francis:
