they might as well have retconned her into a Wakandan tbh. i'm sure a lot of people already think she is as she was in Wakanda, Coogler's name is all over this, and this poster looks like a Dora Milage color scheme

If you got 10-minutes, this non-neckbeard nerd cac pretty much summarizes the foundational issues with comic Riri's creation. Basically how she was undercooked and thrown out to the wolves in 2016. It doesn't touch on the MCU but you could probably see some parallels.
