"Ironheart" Six Episode series on Disney+ (June 24,2025)

Really liking the sense of community and Chitown representation here. Overall so far, the show is straight but nothing special. Feels right in line with most of the other MCU TV joints from 2022 which…makes sense given when it was filmed.

Don’t think it’s anywhere as bad as what its RT audience score is reflecting tho. Dudes gotta be next level miserable to be review bombing any show.

Going by the reviews of all 6 eps the first 3 were ok and the last 3 are the best ones so we should be good.

I thought they were going to tease the new suit until like episode 3 by making her go on side quests to rebuild it but instead we got good suit action from the jump and the CGI of her getting in and out of it is immaculate.

Another thing they got right was the length of these episodes. Too many of these D+ shows gave us ~30 minute episodes. So far IronHeart eps have been at least ~50 minutes.

I've been entertained with it so far. Soundtrack has fit really well. That backhalf sounds fun.

This needed to be Spider Verse levels good to avoid hate. People forget there was a lot of hate towards Miles but the movie was undeniable. The RT score proves that even fans of Marvel are finding issues with it.

I hope Coogler realizes he needs to be more hands when it comes to X-Files. He better direct some episodes cause sharks will be out for that as well especially if he cant get Mulder/Scully back.

Also I had concerns about the director of the 1st 3 episodes being from Dear White People. Its no surprise people say the last 3 are better (director did a few episodes of Atlanta)

I ain’t mad at it. Grey moments like that make the show more interesting. Riri’s panic attacks especially at the end really brought home the fact that she’s just a kid way in over her head with what she’s doing.
