I heard white folks on youtube and everywhere are bashing this...why
This, I was just about to say that. For as smart as riri is, that deal she made with a certain character was dumb as fukk
Once again, they weren't painting a good picture of Riri in this show, this is an ongoing character arc. If anything they showed that her bad choices and shytty attitude is going to bite her in the ass cuz now she's sold her soul.Yeah this was trash.
Dialogue was painful and I dont give a fukk what previous characters did.
I'm not rocking with a genuis level intellect black girl crashing out of MIT to rob, manipulate, and join a gang. Hustling backwards is not a goal or message worthy of praise.
She is a self centered, careless, and childish character. The people she has in her life alone make her a better character than Tony. But she just treats them like trash and gets mad when they call her out.
The last two episodes were like whiplash because they all start to get along out of nowhere and resolve their differences. Even the guy whose life she ruined.
Its typical Disney writing where the protagonist isn't growing through adversity, but discovering their strength that was always there and using people to get there rather than learning from them.
What exactly did Riri Williams learn at the end of Ironheart? What was the lesson of it all?
She literally saw the consequences practically eat somebody else alive...For as smart as riri is, that deal she made with a certain character was dumb as fukk
For as smart as riri is, that deal she made with a certain character was dumb as fukk
Did she actually do it? I thought for sure that was her imagining what that choice would be, or mephisto showing her in her mind what the bargain was....Its 100% irredeemable if so...and she honestly hasn't done almost anything heroic all season and honestly would be a villian. This, I was just about to say that.
Edit: COT DAMN, I hated that ending
I'm sick and fukking tired of the love y'all give this dude.....he ruined Tchalla and Wakanda breh.....
He singlehandedly fukked up the one Black Superhero that was dope and original and he ruined everything. Every fukking thing.

That's a long reach. The way she's written leaves no room for any redeemable qualities. If she isn't endearing to neither the supporting characters or the audience, what exactly anchors either to her development as a character?Once again, they weren't painting a good picture of Riri in this show, this is an ongoing character arc. If anything they showed that her bad choices and shytty attitude is going to bite her in the ass cuz now she's sold her soul.
If anything the show is teaching the AUDIENCE, not the CHARACTER that you need to slow down and listen to your support system, assuming you have a positive support system.
