show was iight, wish it didn't have Robbin HOOD and his Merry Men , with them 2 young M.A stud sisters and EJ Johnson.
Also RiRi didn't have a whole arc she was just stubborn didn't listen to nobody and sold her soul.

Yeah this was trash.

Dialogue was painful and I dont give a fukk what previous characters did.

I'm not rocking with a genuis level intellect black girl crashing out of MIT to rob, manipulate, and join a gang. Hustling backwards is not a goal or message worthy of praise.

She is a self centered, careless, and childish character. The people she has in her life alone make her a better character than Tony. But she just treats them like trash and gets mad when they call her out.

The last two episodes were like whiplash because they all start to get along out of nowhere and resolve their differences. Even the guy whose life she ruined.

Its typical Disney writing where the protagonist isn't growing through adversity, but discovering their strength that was always there and using people to get there rather than learning from them.

What exactly did Riri Williams learn at the end of Ironheart? What was the lesson of it all?

I heard white folks on youtube and everywhere are bashing this...why

Because they're fukking racist lol They were waiting for this show to drop just so they could grift and milk content and continue to bytch about how woke Marvel is and how much they hate Black people. The funny thing is outside of a gay character, the show isn't preachy or woke at all. RiRi is depicted as skilled and intelligent but far from a feminist girl boss they expected her to be. She's incredibly flawed.

I only have 1 episode left, but I've been enjoying it. Much more so than most of their last few projects, but the bar is pretty low. I think they needed a couple more episodes to flesh things out a bit more.

Once again, they weren't painting a good picture of Riri in this show, this is an ongoing character arc. If anything they showed that her bad choices and shytty attitude is going to bite her in the ass cuz now she's sold her soul.

If anything the show is teaching the AUDIENCE, not the CHARACTER that you need to slow down and listen to your support system, assuming you have a positive support system.

For as smart as riri is, that deal she made with a certain character was dumb as fukk

This, I was just about to say that.

Edit: COT DAMN, I hated that ending
Did she actually do it? I thought for sure that was her imagining what that choice would be, or mephisto showing her in her mind what the bargain was....Its 100% irredeemable if so...and she honestly hasn't done almost anything heroic all season and honestly would be a villian.

Maybe in Armor Wars if that actually does happen, we find out.

That's a long reach. The way she's written leaves no room for any redeemable qualities. If she isn't endearing to neither the supporting characters or the audience, what exactly anchors either to her development as a character?

Even Joe had more character development and he was supposed to be side character.
