I think Ironheart's fate lies with Coogler and if he is willing to fight for it. RC has all the power right now with the success of Sinners and the Black Panther franchise. If he wants to continue RiRi's story he should be able to wield some of his power.
If they follow through with the Strange Academy or Young Avengers/Champions show she could easily be part of either without being a focal point

But as a focal character I agree. I think they should just let her go, personally

The good life 😎
This was so bad.

Character was already gonna need help.
The archetype was already gonna need help
Actress playing the character was gonna need help.

But the writers? They did Riri DIRTY.

So many unforced errors
  • Unclear motivation for all of the characters
  • Bad Plot
  • Bad Dialogue
  • Bad powers
  • Bad main character
  • Bad side characters
  • Bad villains
Did nobody at Marvel read this 1st script?
The only reason why I'm not surprised by her character is because this is very similar to how she was presented in the comics under Bendis. She came across as a villain at times because of how seemingly self-serving her character was. I feel that shyt will only get worse with her since the level of bullshyt they would have to put her character through to give her some level of underdog feel would probably destroy her character outright.

I thought it was solid. :yeshrug:I went in with some doubt because RiRi was kinda annoying in BP2.
Similar to Ezra Miller in Flash, she toned down a lot of it for her own show.

The direction and cinematography were good and you actually saw that big money was spent on the show.
RiRi was cool and the sista playing Natalie did her thing (fine AF too). I've seen a number of people say she should have been cast as RiRi.

However, after EP3, when the magic aspect of the show started to take over, that's when it started to go downhill for me. It's weird because I liked Cree Summer and her daughter but that part felt like deleted scenes from Agatha All Along.
Also, man, black writing today feels so contrived and corny at times, I hate when they force in lame, online lingo.

Overall, I enjoyed it and the ending was surprising (even though I was spoiled by cats like John Campea who can't wait 24 hrs after a show airs.)

WOW. Did not realize that.

Still, the septum ring sista behind this still should have read the room.

Smart/Sassy/"Brolic" Black Women are just a hard sell.

The Residence suffered the same fate imo.

Bringing it back to my emphasis on jaded millennial feminist writing. There's an inherent hate for anything remotely patriarchal

Coincidentally there's also the forced deep reverence for villians "Honestly I see Thanos' point" in the face of tearing down the heroes "I could be Tony Stark too if I had a billion dollars"

It's all writing and rhetoric underlined with "I have unresolved issues with my parents" and an increased, and inevitable cynicism stemming from the state of the world
Hopefully

The ending was some hack ass writing boy :russ:
They pretty much negated the little character development she was starting to have
I don’t know shyt about her but if she is this Insufferable in the comics:francis:
Sad thing is episode 4&5 I started to like her character
She was actually facing her “demons” only for that to happen
To use her as a conduit for another character to be revealed :francis:
Marvel relies on that way too much in its writing and I can’t possibly see how this would translate to a season 2
They could’ve given her the Spidey treatment in learning how to deal with pain and overcoming it
I would’ve like to see a black character have that type of growth but Marvel ain’t beating the allegations on that
You really start seeing that pattern of all white characters having a redemption arc
Meanwhile they outright kneecap black characters or make them lame
Ie Nick Fury, Sam, Rhody, M’Baku, etc
People are going to really need to start having that conversation because this actually could’ve went somewhere good
Sad to say any future black characters will be just as cardboard cut out with no thought/care going into their projects or character
Blade doesn’t need to be made at all
And BP3 about to look real suspect as well
Miles just needs to stay animated because if they do him dirty in live action:pacspit:

They introduced Lady Death in Agatha all along and they introduced Mephisto in this. Thanos might be coming back. They were the unholy trinity in the Infinity Gauntlet saga.

I thought this was suppose to lead into Armored Wars ?

Show was solid , was cool that RiRi was an a$$hole and selfish. Usually Disney makes females into Mary sue’s.

I wonder what the point of this is though in the long run , no way it gets another season.
