Watching it now.

Yeaahhhh Irv REALLY feeling himself after cashing in that 100 Mil

I’m 10 minutes in and surprisingly Nore isn’t interrupting and being overly annoying. He’s actually leading in good questions keeping Irv on topic

Anyone got time stamps for the Nas beef convo. I'm never watching a full ep of Drink Champs again lol.

Nas talk starts at 21:47 with Nas vs Jay and how Jay thought he had an ace in the hole with him fukking Nas baby mama. Irv says Nas dropped Ether and fukked EVERYTHING up. Irv says Ether to this day is the most vicious shyt ever.

Nore makes a joke saying that he and Nas were in the club hanging out the other day and Ether played and both Nas and Nore put there heads down lol

Irv says Jay came into Irv’s office everyday but that Jay isn’t the type to openly ask for help. By the third day Irv just openly asked him
“is this shyt bothering you?” And Jay says “Yeaa Gotti. Its fukking with me”. “Irv says “You wanna get him?” And Jay says “In the worst way”. Irv takes Jay to Baseline and they record Superugly. Irv says “In all honesty. I thought Jay did exactly what he said he was going to do, but if you ask me to pick between Ether and Superugly, its Ether”.

He says nobody cared about Superugly.

Irv says even Supreme didn’t care for Superugly. Says that he said “Real nikkas don’t care about fukking with no bytch”.

Irv says that his thought process was that if it worked for Pac it would work for Jay, but it didn’t and that Ether “Avalanched” Jay.

At 32:49 they start talking about Irv falling out with Jay over doing business with Nas and how Jay went and did the Reebox deal partnering with 50 Cent and throwing it back in Irv’s face. Irv says he told Jay “Ya’ll beef ain’t real”. Irv then says “I like Nas. He’s legendary. If Nas came to Murda Inc it would have put us over the top.”. Irv says he was wrong and at that moment he was “dead” to Jay. And it gave Jay the greenlight to do business with 50 and he couldn’t say shyt about it.

At 38:57 Nore asks Irv “Illmatic or Ready To Die?” With no hesitation Irv says “Illmatic. Illmatic in my opinion is the greatest hip hop album ever.” Nore says “When I listen to Illmatic I can literally SMELL Queensbridge.”

bruh what else does he have to say lol

Talks about how he’d be cool with a Muda Inc tour ala Nas and Wu-Tang’s tour but says Ashanti will never do it

Says its true what Prodigy wrote in his book about Cadillac Tah snitching on Irv. Says that Cadillac was a “weak” nikka but he forgives him

Talks about being diabetic and how its affected his life.

Talks a bit about the Ashanti situation and the backlash he received from the last interview. It was mostly jokes this time with Nore clowning Irv and Irv insisting that he’s over her.

Talks about how money makes everything better and how fukked up healthcare is for people who don’t have money

Talks about Big Pun and how charismatic he was. Says he’d take Pun over Big L.

Talks about selling his Masters for 100 Millie and investing it all into movies and a new streaming network.

Says Irv was going to do the Supreme documentary but Nas “Backdoored it” by going straight to Prince. Implies Nas paid Prince 150K for the rights to make the documentary. Irv says he has no hate and that Nas did a good job.

Talks about Dame and Jay and throws little pot shots at Dame. Says that once Jay got put on he didn’t “need” anybody, implying that Jay didn’t need Dame as an artist once they blew up. Says it was all Jay. Jay was picking the beats, Jay was conceptualizing the albums, Jay was doing his own marketing, and Dame was along for the ride.

At 1:46:50 talks about Nas almost signing with Murda Inc. talks about Nas pledging Allegiance on The Pledge, Nore says he didn’t quite get that from the record and Irv says “Hindsight is 20/20”. Irv says that Nas was overwhelmed by Irv’s plans and ran for the hills. Nore references Irv’s meeting with Steve Stoute regarding how to talk to Nas. Steve Stoute told Irv to talk to Nas about Africa and not money and power. Steve told Irv that all Nas wants is “Street cred and a free trip to Africa.” Irv talks about being high on Ecstasy at the Crackhouse (Studio) and telling Nas that him, Ja, and Ashanti should go to the hood in Baltimore in Rolls Royce’s and Nas said “What if we get killed flexing in the hood like that” and Irv says “Then we Martyrs nikka!” Says thats the moment he lost Nas.

Talks about how he’ll probably never settle down with one woman because he can’t trust women. Tells a story about a dime 26 year old Dominican who asked him for $25,000 for school and to open a Spa and he dropped her.

Says Hov ain’t making no music and that last time he spoke to Jay that Jay told him “I gave it all I had”. Says he feels Jay is finished making albums.

Nore asks if Hov congratulated him on the 100 Millie. Says Hov ain’t the type to call somebody to congratulate them.

Says that Muda Inc as a group (Ja, X, Jay) never actually recorded any real songs together. Says X and Ja were with it but Jay wasn’t. Says he tried two times to get the album to happen but in his opinion he doesn’t think Jay wanted to get in a room with X and Ja. Says he did the album with R.Kelly because Kelly worshipped Jay-Z. Mentioned that Jay Electronica and Kanye also worship Jay-Z thats why they got full albums with him. Says X and Ja never worshipped Jay-Z. When that beat come on, Ja and X gonna get at him. Says Jay didn’t want to deal with competition. Says it wasn’t worth it for Jay.

Talks about the infamous battle between Jay and X and that Jay won but there was an asterisk next to it because Jay finished his rhyme and left without giving X a chance to respond. Says that people saying Jay won incenses X

Says X and Ja used to battle together and clean nikkas up

Says if Mic Geronimo would have stayed loyal he would have had a better career. Implies Mic didn’t really want to be a star

Ya, I could see this. Nas seems like a laid back chill dude so if you come at him on some "lets kill nikkaz" and all that rah rah gangster shyt, I can see him disappearing into the cut.

Nas made a business decision...

He looked at the murder Inc roster and seen G-Unit marching up the hill...

nikka said fukk yall and bounced:francis:
