Just starting I got a Story to tell...they're butchering this by not sticking to the story

I disagree. I like the episode and respect them using a little artistic license to enhance the story. You still got the gist of the song and it ended in a way that put a smile on my face.

I'm done with this show. I got a Story To Tell is an iconic hip hop song/story. He changed entirely too much. Changed stuff that made the story so great. I overlooked him fukking up F the Police, hoping it was just a one time mistake getting too artsy, but it looks like that's just how this series is gonna be.

Breh, he changed the whole essence of the interaction. BIG's story is about BIG being such a G, he talked a ballers girl into giving up them draws, and reacted to him coming home. The baller is just a doofus who comes home and drops to the floor and start paying him out of fear. BIG ain't even know who the baller was, and none of his boys did. Irv changed this to being some BS revenge play and shyt.

Baller comes home and BIG comes up with a plan to make it look like a robbery and get the loot and everything. Tales gave me that. Was there things that changed? Yes, boyfriend didn't play for the knicks and dude didn't spark and L after he fukked the girl. Plus the detective part and ATL was added in, but dude did say he was from Brooklyn and had a bed stuy hat.

To me I'm ok with the story being inspired by the song, which it was.

The funniest parts of the story was BIG saying the game got rained out and BIG not knowing who the baller was (I dunno, one of them 6'5" nikkas ), and this Tale completely fukked that up. There's other details they butchered as well. Like I said, this is an iconic song that people have been listening to and picturing in their heads based on BIG's imagery for 2 decades now. He dropped the ball.

But this ain't a good enough show for me to go back and forth on. Enjoy the rest of it, but I'm out.

If irv want to take the artsy route, choose artsy rap songs then !
