Where can you live where $20/hr is great? I'm assuming good nightlife and good amount of women too.

Please let me know, I'm at $54k/yr.

I understand the premise you're getting at.

But where can you live where $20/hr is great?

WHAT...CITY....DO....YOU....LIVE....IN?

Where I live doesn't matter and won't get your point across.

Simply looking up median rent, a lot of places $20/hr is barely scrapping by.

Can you name the areas where $20/hr is great living?

Perfect example

Any young breh/brehette reading this reading this thread trying to get their foot in the door of their careers, don't let people like this influence you on what is considered a "good salary"

Can't even say what city he lives in, but somehow knows that $20/hr is a bad pay rate for EVERYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. Typical dude with rose colored glasses of the city he lives in, and has not dared to travel outside of his own city

I already accounted the car being paid for, hence no car note.

1 bedrooms can still go for $900 - $1200.

The goal should be to never work overtime. Any job where you HAVE to work overtime is in so many words poverty.

Overtime can be mandatory because of demand not always wanted by employees. And if you can budget your money and know when it's time to live it up and when it's time to be mature there should be no problems with poverty.

You didn't read my original post. I said $20/hr is good to get on your feet. I also said to get a roommate.

How are you gonna call me out, but can't name the areas where $20/hr is GREAT?? :jbhmm: Those were your words. You should be able to prove me wrong, at least thats what it sounds like.:hubie:

I'm not sure why you're making this so difficult.

$2500/month.

Average rent for a decent 2 bedroom is what, $1400?

-$700 rent
-$100 utilities
-$300 food
-$300 car insurance/gas
-$50 health insurance
-$50 cellphone
-$500 gym, restaurants, entertainment

$500 leftover.

Like I said, doable with a roommate.
If you’re living on $2.5k a month, you need to cut down that 500 a month on restaurants and entertainment. Gym is like 20-40 tops a month

Most retail and fastfood places aren't offering overtime. Corporate, as far as I'm concerned, absolutely does not want workers getting overtime.

I agree, but you gotta live. :hubie: You don't have to spend $500 every month, but still. I find it hard to believe some mid 20s dude ain't chasing women and is staying in the house.

You might not have much a choice though until you move up.

I don't have my contacts in and it clearly says Church's. Also it depends on where you live, your relationship status, do you have any children, how many hours you work, and a number of other things. Another thing that woman better be careful because life has a way of humbling you. No need to shame someone based on salary.

Arguing with people that are making your food...:picard::huhldup::huhldup::huhldup::huhldup::huhldup::huhldup:

Imagine being out on a date with this woman and she flips out on the waiter....:scusthov:
Take care of the people that make you look good and feel good. So, barbers, waiters and waitresses and others get me on best behavior. Truth be told though, you have to go out of your way to be an a$$hole.

Depends on the person, if the person is introverted then they not going out. Plus these days, people tend to spend more time staying in and being online than outside socializing and chasing women.
