If you’re financially contributing to the household (rent, bills, etc.) then I see it differently. You’re helping your parents.No matter what the debt is always going to be your responsibility. You decide when it will be paid off.
I see your argument tho, but what if you are in a situation where your parents charge you rent but it is 1/3 of how much they pay? That's still significantly cheaper than living on your own correct and you are no longer a financial burden to them
The idea isn't to leech of your parents, it's to be there and help out at the house while utilizing this opportunity to pay off your debts.
but I got my associates within 2 though....just took forever to finish the program since I switched.
