Your own place and a career at 25 is wildin?! :dahell:

We not talking bout become the next Denzel Washington or Jay Z

We're just discussing why so many people have less milestones compared to their parents are the same age

it's a different economy. i remember being young and hearing bill clinton talk about how future generations are going to do worse than their parents did. now we're seeing that.

and it hasn't gotten as bad as it's going to either.

I don't even want to dig into your story even further as I'm sure there are more holes to show why you don't apply to what @The Computer is talking about, but it's clear you're on some bullshyt just to talk down to folks.

It isn’t any digging required shyt isn’t rare or special...shyt I had my first house at 26 also...and that damn sure wasn’t special.its fairly common.

You sound old. People don't even have "careers" like they use to. I done had 4 careers at this point and probably a completely new one by the end of 2020.

And honestly people should be staying with their parents or at least roommates as long as possible. So nah I don't see it as something you should be hurrying into.

It's a new landscape. Your talking point is about 30 years too late.
I'm 24 and have a career :dahell:

How old are you? And what careers have you worked?

But I do agree with the roommates thing to an extent the problem is finding good roommates else you could end up evicted like @BrothaZay :dead:

I imagine @BrothaZay showing up to his mom house with a half a dime bag of Reggie, a pack of black and milds, a ninja turtles blanket, and two white pillows with make up stains on them

One big thing to realize: a lot of people simply don't have a concrete plan. That's why I don't put stock in these so called "milestone" ages.

Make a plan and execute it at the best pace you can do.

Some can achieve at 22 what even most a lot of 40 year olds haven't achieved, like own place, good career, above average salary, low debt.

Politics and economics and shytty educational system = extended adolescence.

Let me be clear. If you are taking care of ur parents and helping them with the bills while saving towards your own goals, you aren’t in this conversation.

If you going thru some depression and a rough patch, this ain’t for you.

If you need to regroup for a bit. This ain’t for you.

But if you petulantly barely made it out of high school with bad grades, won’t even get a trade or any entry level position to even get experience, stay at home playing video games or using ur mother and father to watch ur baby while you turn up, you are a parasite. Our elders are being greatly strained by a lot of people in the younger generations who refuse to grow up. You have to struggle and work hard like most everybody else. Putting an excess strain on ur parents b/c you refuse to make the sacrifices they made to get where they were going for urself is selfish.

And using the excuse that the immigrants do it, doesn’t work b/c many have the same problem with parasitic kids. Moreover culturally, others have parents that literally RUN their lives.

All that having been said, this is all by design. Our economy, housing system, conservative economic policies rendering middle class obsolete, reverse Robin Hood tactics, educational policies crippling our education system for profit has left us with a generation of people with no jobs, no training, no wealth, and no knowledge of how to get any.

Bruh, I don’t care what no one says. Living with your folks until you’re 30 is some loser shyt. Unless of course you’re paying their mortgage or something, in which case they’re really living with you. Don’t tell me it’s impossible to move out and survive either please. That’s bullshyt.
you wanna survive some people wanna live
