I bought a guitar last summer at 26 years old...It takes discipline and practice, which I have neither of because I haven't touched it in months 
my dream is to sit infront of a big old ass piano with the top up playin some smooth shyt, with a glass of brandy on the rocks sittin over the keyspreferably wearing a tuxedo, or a hugh hefner robe and house slippers
what do I need to make this happen yall

lmao, that's kinda like what my stepfather do minus the tux. You just gotta learn and practice breh, you can't expect to be good overnight you just gotta enjoy it for what it is.

Don't know much about the piano...but at the end of the day u can play this long brown, shiny, bald headed, circumsized, flute I got for u homey.
You can do it if you have the drive and discipline I taught myself plenty of things through a hell of a lot of practice and dedication. I also wanna learn the bass and keys

that and swimming is something from young i've always thought, meh..i'll learn when i'm rich and have nothing to do all do day.
own a guitar too and i can hardly play a lick..even though my grandfather is a guitar player and i never asked him to teach me.
when people see it in my apartment and ask me to play i always have an excuse handy not too.
