Is a Jehovah's Witness or other Christian offering you literature considered street harrassment?

there's a lot of other things in the world to be worried/bothered about than getting a tract from a jehovah's witness :francis:

Like I said I hear what you're saying but I look at it like this: Will a person who's been fired from a decent job have good things to say about his old job/boss? Be realistic bruh. Maybe they might say some good things but you can be sure they'll throw some ether out there or be salty because of what happened to them. It's human nature & that's why I'd rather go to the source & that applies to all things; not just religion.

talk rubbish brehs.

creh here was never a jw .. have a look.

@FrederickDouglas I think it is important to show JW higher ups benefits for being corrupt.

Like what to they get out of it ? is there a money trail ?

yes. they used to sells mags to make money.

now they build properties to make money.

free labor comes from their congregants.

they are shifting away from a focus door to door work because they no longer have anything to sell.

they dropped the reporting requirements to hide bad results but also because since they dropped fees for the mags they don't make their money that way.

about lying:

Do goverments push for it because it make a large group non voters ?

lets get passed the bible talk and the social aspect, lets focus on the power being shifted.

many people would lie if they could get control of billons and control of 8 million free workers.

jw's hide their own history from their own people.

their jw.org website is curated so that the average member can't see the bulk of their old publications,

I hear what you're saying but I'd rather go directly to the source (person/people or directly to a site) to get my information. You never know now days who has an agenda or who might be biased.

:ehh: ok so here you go from the horses mouth:

jackson is one of their leaders

also:

another jw boss hiding child abuse behind UK privacy laws

I just ignore them
They talk to me
Me: :unimpressed: starring into the distance and keep doing what I’m doing, ignoring them completely

They come to my door

Me: :mjlol: *closes door*

I’m not gonna take the word of anyone disgruntled. That’s common sense for life in general. You always try to go to a more unbiased source for into

my point is in 2023 you can see the JW bosses talk for themselves,

GOVERNING BODY MEMBER: geoffrey jackson speaks ...

1215

the court transcripts are available if you want them.

GOVERNING BODY MEMBER: theodore "ted" jaracz speaks...

i'm going to ignore your "point" because only someone with limited access to the real world reasons like that.

1. not everyone telling the truth about jw's used to be a jw.
2. not everyone who has left is going to be "disgruntled" and/or "biased".
3. the people who experienced it will know it best (see. wwii camps for another example, or a someone who has been assaulted or raped).
if we ignored people who "might be biased" the legal system would collapse.
4. only an idiot (or jw under command) only listens to one side of a story.
meanwhile proverbs 18:17 says:
Screenshot-2023-10-21-at-20-12-54.png

5. there is no rule in life that says the originator is the least biased. that's just stupid.
/sub topic over.

they pretend that "colportuers" were EQUAL TO (early) "pioneers" like in the following ...

but do not mention that "colportuers" was a general term for people who were EMPLOYED selling books door-to-door as a job. as part of any kind of business but also religion.

mass production books back then were cutting edge.

"Colportage is the distribution of publications, books, and religious tracts by carriers called "colporteurs" or "colporters". The term does not necessarily refer to religious book peddling."
