My cousin loves clingy girlfriends. I don't get it. Homegirl of mine broke up with him cause he wanted her to be more clingy and now he's married with an insanely clingy chick. Can't lie, they're happy as shyt together and probably will never divorce.

At the beginning of mean streets
I have the opposite problem. I've been told by guys that I'm not clingy enough and should open up, call more etcetera. Little did they know I was secretly crazy about them like I adored them, I just didn't know how to let them know verbally, fear of being rejected even though they told me there feelings. Most recent guy pretty sure I've lost him due to not being open with feelings. He said he got tired of one sided relationships but yet I drove hours across state just to see him and we'd talk everyday so I didn't understand how it was one sided. I tend to show my love through gifts and cooking/being intimate. I don't know. My problem is not calling/texting enough usually I let the guy handle this early on but I now know that I must make an effort as well. He had it all, educated, intelligent, ambitious, professional and was encouraging me to complete my goals. I'm pretty sure we are over. You win some you lose some. I'll take what I learned and apply it next time.

Anyways when someone is clingy there's some kind of fear there and issue they need to address within, same with aloofness. It's a catch 22 at times.

I don't think aloofness or being clingy necessarily says a person has issues. I'm not clingy, I'm aloof, but I show love in a different way. People show love in different ways. Be it constantly wanting to be around a person because you enjoy their company or doing the opposite but showing you care by doing things you know they would feel good about. Just like being affectionate, not everybody is affectionate. :ld:

Dominican and Rican men are clingy and its no wonder they like women like that too.

Love does not automatically= clingy

Clingy does not mean love.
