Reigns is a victim of Vince's booking. The fans were finally behind him after he defeated Sheamus for the belt on Raw. What did this promotional genius do, he let Roman run roughshod over The League and had him defend the title in the Rumble. The fans rightfully assumed he was gonna win it from the number one position. All that goodwill they built just weeks before, disappeared like a virgin on prom night.

Dean is just that oddball character people can get behind because we all know someone like Dean Ambrose the character. I know quite a few myself :merchant:

I was about to post something similar to ur post. And to ask this ?

What if Roman was hurt and Seth was healthy?

Would Dean be anywhere near the Main Event at WM?
I believe plans were for Rollins vs Trips although I doubt the title would've been involved. At some point Sheamus would've cashed in on Seth.

Used to be indifferent, and a bit haterish because the IWC loved him like a god and shyt, but he's now my 2nd fav on the current roster. As described, he has that IT factor, and is just at ease with his character and how he should be playing him. He used to be restricted, but like a dog, he knows how to get the most out of every part of the yard to the fence. He's not trying to dig under the fence (cursing and breaking other PG rules or out showing Roman), he's just maximizing the mileage of that character.

It's awesome to watch a person get himself in the main event like that.

And yeah, he's like 1000x better than Roman at promos, because of the way he talks, and stays within himself but pushes the story. Great body language and can sell with his body or mouth the opposition. His in ring moveset sucks, but his character gets it over too.

I appreciate and respect Dean, and maybe he does deserve a try-out run, but I just never liked him, and only enjoy moments of his matches.

Heel Roman would be amazing and new. But even as a face I think he can make good TV/matches.

Deans character seems an extension of himself and everything he does even when In skits with a dummy seems natural .

Man, they could do a great heel turn, but Vince is basically playing everything ultra safe anymore.

Continue to have Dean get over as a face.....then have Roman turn on him.

Or at least have Roman tease a heel turn at Fast Lane , show a mean streak.

Then next night on RAW, have Roman come out and cut a promo saying, "I've been talking too much lately and not doing enough ass-kicking. I'm going back to the way I used to be..."

And he could be a semi-heel while still being a face, like he was in the Shield. The crowd would get back on his side before Mania
