Genghis Khan is the baddest mufukka ever to walk the earth. If you haven't read his biography then you should. Used to like Alexander the Great but he really was a p*ssyboy and had shyt handed to him. If I had his upbringing but remained myself i would've taken over the world. Props as well to Julius Caesar.

I like Sahelian, Greek, Amizigh, West African, Roman, Persian, Diadochi, Turkish, Mongol and Arab history.

If yall are the history nuts you claim to be head over to a site called SufficientVelocity.com its a forum with a text-based quests section people can participate in. You can also head over to AlternateHistory.com to get your fix.

As for the forum with the quest section, type this name in the search bar: Magna Graecia: A City State Quest.

You participate in the quest by voting on a set of pre-made issues that your new city-state must use to survive in lower half of the barbaric Italian peninsula. You'll be dealing with other city states, violent natives, and mother nature as you seek to right your city, Eretria, and help to not only survive but grow.

Props to the QM for making such an immersive quest and very educational.

Thinking about making a quest about a settlement in the Sahel in 1000BC known as Dia. The Gimmick is gonna involve a handful of fictional characters or maybe a few ISOTs as well.

Need to read up a bit more though.

Ya'll should check out the history threads in the Root by @KidStranglehold .
Smart as hell.

:gucci:What you talmbout?

You really tryna downplay the Young OG?
Only thing he inherited was an experienced army. Alexander's campaigns were his own, he saved his father's life twice in two different battles only to have his own father try to kill him at a banquet. He wasn't even suppose to rule after his father

Your dreams
I love it. But always end up pissed. I hate the idea of kingdoms and subjects. If only true democracy was possible... But then many of Africa's autocracies might as well be "kingdoms".

I am interested in the peoples spiritual history as it relates to alien encounters... Historical and scientific accuracy of the many texts and oral traditions that were looked down on but now proven to be true.

Was completely bored by my own Zim history till I got older and realised a few things. Like the spiritual assistance given during the Chimurenga/liberation wars. How the spirit came through different people/mediums over the generations. How one of the first was the Mwene Mutapas daughter.

Oh and it was Wilbur Smiths books that got me into African history. I read his novels in the school library as a teen. The only scifi book I could find was The Dune so I was forced to start on Mr Smiths books.

Im ashamed to say i chose European history in high school for exams. Not because I found it more interesting but I knew it was going to be an easier pass.

Im bored with the Egypt thing but it seems to be many western black peoples go to idea of African history and " royalty". The idea of being descended from "royalty" sold into slavery seems to be a wet dream of some - but thats a whole other topic.
