My Xbox Series X other people paid for that for me after I sold 2 of the 3 I got around launch and kept one. I spent $152 on 3 years of Game Pass for it. If I can in the next 3 years pluck 3 games off Game Pass that cost $50+ then after that I come out ahead.

Console fanboys on the other hand only really deal in exclusive games. Xbox has plenty of multiplatform games and some of them will come to Game Pass saving me money. Saying a system that gets multiplatform games you buy and can potentially get them on a service such as Game Pass has no games is irrational.
