Just like Yvette has been saying, this couldn't of happen without the government not just allowing it but intentionally doing so.

Probably the closest thing to Wakanda that I ever been too. I seen so much black excellence from tourists to workers, it was something out of an Outkast song:wow:
stayed at the same Gaylord Resort hotel for a graduation... area is real nice... had them good as maryland crab cakes.

Atlanta
:unimpressed: If you don't live here, you can't really comment about here. A lot of folks be living out in middle of nowhere making comments.

Why Wakanda? Why just atlanta or more importantly describe what you imagine this ideal Atlanta to be?

Its silly and insulting to try and connect black wealth and opportunity to a fictional geographic location.

I dont see that point of that tbh

BECAUSE T.I. SAID IT WAS WAKANDA

Atlanta is attractive for its low CoL. Its a boring and dismal city. The infrastructure of the metropolitan is a mess but it’s racially motivated. :mjpls:

The ‘urban’ music industry, reality, and now film is why it has the Wakanda rep. However, cacs are noticeably eating. However, it’s ample opportunities for black professionals.

Not the city limits. But at its best the Atlanta suburbs have had great potential.

When I lived in Dekalb County.....

I lived in a 90% Black middle/upper class subdivision.

My daughter went to an All Black private school

We had a Black realtor

We had a Black family doctor

We had a Black family dentist

We had a Black lawyer (watching the Black realtor)

My bosses at work were Black.

A lot of the police and first responders were Black.
