Baseball is dying jt has the oldest demographic for fans, only 4 playoff spot not counting that crummy extra wildcard.
Playoff baseball is great but regular season is to long, games take to long. Pitcher to batter takes years.

It isn't marketed the right way. Every kid wants to play basketball or football but if you get your 5-11 (no bball) ass 185 pd (no football) kid a glove and teach his ass to play third like Jimmy Rollins, he will make more money than either of those sports and keep his brain when he is 45. Baseball should open up after school programs in every hood and buy kids free gear and take them on tournaments to participate.. the game would get better with another barry bonds in it.

Baseball is still huge in America. Almost every American boy grows up playing little league.It gets a shytload of coverage on our American sports networks and the players are rockstars.
Now, the reason some people on here dont like it is because a lot of posters here are from the south and Baseball has never been a big sport down there among black folks. Black folks in the south care about football (slaveball) and nothing else.
