but luck is a part of competition/success
so are natural skills/natural advantages
so is self awareness
so is persistence
so is patience

All of those things and more allow for success...and NONE of them (individually and collectively) guarantee success

I ran a business when I was 21. Provided a service and it caught on. People don't like to "act" but they are quick to dismiss or provide hypothetical solutions. Many people don't want to put the blood, sweat, tears, money and (most importantly) TIME to enterprise in the free market, but they are quick to tell others how to spend their hard earned money, or tell others how to run their business.
