Yeah it is disrespectful to his mother because he grew up around the Black culture in America, not around Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico. He became a basketball player because his mother was a basketball player. For him to give props to somewhere he did not grow up is beyond disrespectful.


PRs live all up and down the east coast. What if he has family right here? Flights to PR are dirt cheap, how do you know he wasn't there all the time? If he's giving props it must have some impact on his life.

he carries his moms name right? Thats the only thing thats Odd. Lotta Caribbean and African nikkas was making deals with American chicks in the 70s/80s to give them a baby for papers. So not disrespecting the dead just seems Odd to carry your mothers name.
HIs father was born a citizen, didn't have to do anything for papers
