breh...the clippers have been a poorly constructed team for years....that has nothing to do with chris paul.....

the problem is the team is never healthy....either cp3....or blake or both are always injured....

they lost because blake was injured....and without blake ....utah is the better team....

the internet has become a wasteland of negativity....cp3 plays just like he always has....keep him healthy and with a healthy team around then we might see something....

i doubt that ever happens with the clips though
You must have missed all his shortcomings in the playoffs over the last half a decade if you think it's as simple as this. :manny:

i only he gets a lot of hate because he dribbles A LOT but teams have rarely fit him. he's never had another option thay could create for him consistently. clippers have an archaic 2 big roster

Who 'literally saved' the season in '15 when the Warriors won the title, other than Curry? Same goes for last season too, what moments did guys step up (when he didn't) to save the season?

They made it to the second round with him missing most of the first round and then halfway to the CF without him as well. I'm not saying his injury is an example of him not stepping up, but it is an example of other guys stepping up without him. The Warriors without Steph last year were basically as successful as any CP3 team has ever been. Klay most definitely saved the season while Steph and the rest of the squad were looking :hamster: in game 6 at OKC. If it wasn't for Klay having and out of body experience in that game they get ran off the floor.

Lmao our must watch 0 basketball. Everyone and the grandma thought the warriors were going to get blown off the court in game 6 in OKC like they did in game 3 and 4 and OKC already stole game 1. Klay Thompson saved curry that night. Never seen someone get so hot at the right time to save a season. CP0 has never had that. Dude saved curry's legacy. If you win a chip against all injuries teams and the moment you run into a healthy team you don't make the finals. That would have put an asterisk on that first ring. shyt people still put one on it seeing how they lost to a healthy Cavs team.

Plenty of blame to go around.....
Brittle Blake gets some.
Poorly constructed team for April-June basketball so Doc gets some.
Pierce, Felton, Speights getting heavy minutes in a game 7 so Doc gets a bit more.
Paul also holds the ball a lot which tends to keep the rest of the team cold for lots of possessions. He gets some.
Jordan at the line is a scary sight so he gets some.
Rivers getting 30 minutes/game and only 8 points on 34% shooting
Reddikk should have feasted with Paul but he choked too.

Anyone who has watched the Clippers knows that their ability to compete for a title relied on Griffin and Jordan becoming more dynamic. Paul basically maxed out his abilities and will give you consistent, elite point guard play. However, Jordan still has no offense for a man as big and athletic as he is, and Blake regressed after last year's injuries. So basically the Clippers have consistently been a team with one-dimensional players: Jordan can only catch lobs, Griffin used to only be able to dunk, now all he can do is shoot mid range jumpers, Reddikk can only catch and shoot, Crawford can only iso, etc. Paul's ability to run the point has allowed the Clippers to overachieve since their player's skill sets are so narrow.

They lost with Cp3 and Blake game 1 when Gobert got hurt 17 seconds into the series.

They're not the better team. They more than likely would have found a way to lose this series regardless.

JJ Reddikk was worthless and completely taken out of this series by Joe Ingles.

Even when the Clips could score they couldn't get stops on the other end. I don't see how Blake changes that.

Only reason Clippers didn't go home Friday was because the Jazz were like 7-26 on 3's and most of them were good looks

Team and coaching.

Ironically I think D'Antoni would have been the best coach for his career because he would have told him to stop dribbling the air out of the ball and move it around more.

D'Antoni with CP3, DeAndre and BLAKE? :merchant:

Blake probably only plays 40 games per season at his pace though :mjlol:

In a position to take a 3-2 lead against OKC and , but it had nothing to do with CP3 :troll:

3-1 series lead against Houston, and up 20 points at the end of the third quarter of a close out game and , but it had nothing to do with CP3 :troll:

Every single pivotal or close out scenario, he chokes. The 2nd video showing Reddik disgusted with CP3 NOT running the Horns play was :laff: I remember that
