Where have I given him all the praise for winning? Don't lump me in with a lot of folks on this board cause I ain't one of them
I wasn't accusing you of such, I'm simply stating there's a certain group on this board who believe CP3 isn't to blame at all for his own and his team's demise during the PS.

I'll say this about the Clips... they have the most static offense in the league. Almost none of their guys can play multiple positions. It just gives the defense so many advantages in the playoffs. Any coach can put them in a box.

Also, never been a fan Chris Paul. I hope Reddikk ends up somewhere decent. Really wish he'd went to Chicago with healthy Rose instead of LA :francis:

A few problems with this, you're doing a lot of juelzsantanagif from your original point which was using Game 6 as an example of Curry not showing up and Klay saving the day - you're wrong on that point. Yes Klay did have the better performance, but let's not act like Curry wasn't right there with him contributing at a high level (Curry had 22 points in the second half and Klay had 25 - they combined for 78% of GS' total points in the second half).

Furthermore, don't marginalize Curry's performance to just his scoring, as if he wasn't playmaking/getting guys open looks either from direct passing (9 assists), off-ball and on-ball gravity which opened up the floor for his teammates and secondary looks (he led that series in secondary assists). Nobody ever likes talking about just how much offensive impact he has even when he isn't scoring - he's the MAIN reason why the Warriors end up having so many open looks - he's the nucleus of it all. Not to mention he held Westbrook to low efficiency scoring (32% shooting) and a high-turnover rate when he was the primary defender (defended more shots than any other Warriors player) during that series.

You asked for an example. I gave you one. You challenged it. I gave you facts to support it that you have no rebuttal for. I really don't know what else to tell you :manny:.

He need to be more aggressive shooting

He never going anywhere dribbling 17 seconds out the shot clock then passing first then shooting once in a while

He need to take 20 to 25 shots a game not 15 shots..

Seems like no CP3 stan wants to answer this question..... @The Dankster you're never short of a word (or two). :lolbron:

CP3 has won Game 7's before against better teams than this, sometimes with dominant performances. ESPN said he tweaked an ankle in the third; it was impossible for me to see the game so I didn't see if that affected him, but he didn't score late. I think that more than that it was a series of adjustments - without Blake there were only so many things the Clips could try, the guards-heavy lineup worked in Game 6 and CP3 killed in that game but the Jazz adjusted and Clippers had no adjustment back.

the clippers are and have always been a poorly constructed team.

If cp3 was in the east or on the thunder/spurs/Warriors or even the pelicans as they are now would he be more successful?

Not counting the last 2 years the Clippers have had the most talent in The NBA before The Dubs took off...stop making excuses for mediocrity

Why did curry only have 17 on terrible efficiency with 4 turnovers on his game 7?:sas1:

B b but:bryan:
You mean the same game where Thompson shot 4-17 and went 2-10 from distance as well? Matter of fact Klay missed some 15 of his last 21 threes on the series and midway through the third quarter of game 6 him, Barnes, and Livingston were a combined 3-26 from he field and 0-11 from deep which is why they were behind all game.

on what planet?

Deandre Jordan...the most athletic rim protector rim runner who deters as many shots as he blocks? Check
Blake Griffin? 22-8 who improved his midrange, ft%, ball handling and playmaking in the span of 4 years?....check
JJ Reddikk...a really good jump shooter who occasionally was able to put it on the floor having shown huge growth since his magic days? Excellent ft shooter?..Check
CP3...the best offensive/defensive pg since the heyday of Stockton/GP...check
Jamal Crawford...undoubtedly one of the best 6th men the league has ever seen. Liable to go for 30 any given night...check

They have had that cast of characters for 4+ years. Not to mention the myriad of bench players who have given meaningful contributions in the playoffs WHEN IT COUNTED such as Darren Collison, Matt Barnes, Big Baby and Austin Rivers. This team hasn't gotten it done for one reason alone but don't blame the team

:patrice: Looks at Blake always being injured, Jordan being completely incapable of creating his own shot and being statistically the second worst foul shooter in league history, Crawford being a horribly inefficient shooter who plays little defense. Matt Barnes, Austin rivers, and the big baby? Really :what:?

For as much has been made about DJs ft shooting give me one playoff game that was determined by it. Do you not remember the 16-18 pts Austin scored off the bench in (14-15) Spurs series on the road when they were in desperate need of a road win? Or the 28 Austin put up in Game 4 against Houston in the following series that put them up 3-1? Did Big Baby not battle down low against Duncan & Diaw in (14-15)? Don't blame Craw & DJ when their contributions were good enough to have them up by 11 with like less than 3 minutes to go on the road against OKC in (13-14) or when they pissed away a 18 pt 4th quarter league to a Harden-less Rockets team in (14-15). You are telling me surface level stuff right now...I've watched this team since it was assembled and I'm telling you what happened HOW it happened
