My OG told me in the south they was bumping Public Enemy and on the West when he moved out to Oakland.

I never hear of chuck d slander or know.of any beefs he was involved in.

Even Prince who didn't really regard rap early on was a Chuck D fan

Also he has the respect of Farrakhan and the NOI approval.

Yea Scarface I can agree with that.

Shame though because in a way because Cube fukked with PE sound heavy and even used they producers..then gangsta rap goes and ends up being a money maker and the powers start to push it more over the self empowering raps of Public Enemy and the like.

I agree….I believe he was just annoyed or irritated with SB running his mouth,but he definitely is respected from East to West,on down to the South…..Especially in NY…Chuck D will tell u that himself!
