Is it hopeless?

Link up with like minded people that you trust if possible. When shyt hits the fan you don't want to be struggling to survive with just your wife and kids. There is strength in number and community.
Also may want to relocate if your out west or the south. I personally think the Great Lakes region will be the best place to move to in the states.

Low key this is one reason I've never moved out of Michigan. Say what you want but when shyt hits the fan I'd rather be in an area with a reliable water supply :manny:

Maybe we should make a "Climate Change prep" thread :jbhmm:

Michigan is going to see a huge rise in population if some of the climate models are correct. May be a good idea to buy some land and property if you already live there.

And yes a climate change prep thread is an excellent idea

Man, you can make a point about him hamstringing legislation without the hyperbole. I’m getting old but these hyperbolic, over inflated headlines and arguments do Jack shyt to persuade the people who need persuading and inhibit pragmatic conversation between differing viewpoints.

How else will future generations view him though?

Opinions are baked in at this point unfortunately, it's too late to persuade anybody regardless. And I'm not sure anything in the article is wrong :yeshrug:

Poll question is flawed.
Think of it like cancer.
If you are at stage 4 cancer it's not curable but treatable.
You will still want to treat it so the person can stay alive longer and spend more time with loved ones.

As someone who believes in climate change, even if I’m the target for this - no persuasion needed - I’m immediately turned off by any argument pinning this crisis on one person. Anyone on the fence or new to the issue would likely roll their eyes also.
